Calling All Brides: Wedding Playlist

I mentioned in my last post, that in honor of our one year wedding anniversary, I’d share some wedding tips, DIY stuff, videos, etc. I’ll start today with our wedding playlist.  I am such a proponent of the idea that your music and DJ are two critical parts to your wedding’s success. I know, I know, of course the most important thing is the love and commitment to your significant other, but I am focusing on the party for now, capeesh?

So my tip for today: Have a meeting with your DJ and go over the flow of the evening, the names of your bridal party and your playlist.

Now do keep in mind that your DJ has probably done this before, and might have a few suggestions of their own worth considering. Our DJ was incredible and gave me a TON of advice on the overall flow of things, when to play slow songs and what types of music to play. He knew what he was doing and definitely put our minds at ease. He even supplied a spreadsheet to fill out ahead of time; which is my type of person. Organization at its finest.

So here it is, our wedding playlist for all of the big moments:

And just when you thought I was wrapping up, here are the songs we requested to keep the dinner atmosphere cozy, fun and relaxing:

And lastly, below is the list that kept the party going. Dancing songs.

All of the above, coupled with a top notch DJ, should result in this:

That's all for today!

Love Always,
A
