Birthday Celebrations

As previously mentioned, I celebrated my 27th birthday over the weekend. It was such a great couple of days. I took Friday and Monday off from work and enjoyed a long and relaxing weekend with friends and family.

Thursday
Actually, to rewind a bit, my fabulous co-workers threw me a little birthday/project-completion party in our office Thursday that included cake, flowers, balloons and cornhole. This is just one of the many reasons that I love my job and the people that I work with.

I then I arrived home to Billy surprising me with an early birthday present. First off, call me ridiculous if you will, but I found it so exciting to receive a card that said To My Wife. I know, a lot of people are rolling their eyes right now, but I was excited. What made the card even better was that Billy wrote me a nice note on the inside, explaining that he knows how much I love to write and that he wanted me to be able to from anywhere, hence he got me an IPad. I almost fell over when I opened the gift. Still blown away.

Onto Friday
Friday was my actual birthday and I spent it exactly where one wants to be on their birthday. At the beach.

From there, Billy and my girlfriends took me out to a scrumptious dinner at East Bay Grille in Plymouth. Bill and the girls ordered some oysters which I happily declined, but it was fun watching them get so excited to finish off the dish.

The night ended with Billy, Traci and I taking a midnight dip in the ocean on our way home. It was so much fun and pretty hilarious looking back on it now.

Saturday:
On Saturday, we had a cookout at our home. Billy was on the grill, (although I definitely jumped in so he could play games) the boys played oakie and can-jam, our fire pit was lit and flip cup was played. It was a great night all in all. Thanks to everyone who came! And remember Miss Park that I mentioned yesterday? Check out the cake she made below along with some other pictures from the night.

Sunday:
Sunday we were SO tired! But we got ourselves together and went out to eat with my family.

Monday:
And my long, crazy, fun weekend wrapped up on Monday with another trip to the beach with my friends. It was a perfect ending to a tip-top weekend.

Here's to a fabulous 27th year. So far, so good.

Love Always.
A
