A Wicked Date Night

As mentioned in Saturday’s blog post, we celebrated our one year wedding anniversary by heading into Boston to dine on some yummy Italian food and then we saw Wicked at the Boston Opera House, which was incredible.

The evening was my idea of a perfect night. I love going into Boston and walking around, which we had some time to do. I used to work next door to the Boston Opera House so I was feeling quite nostalgic reminiscing in my old stomping grounds.

To keep things easy, we ended up eating at the restaurant next door to the opera house, Salvatore's, which was delicious. Risotto balls, eggplant parmigiana and cannolis were consumed, which if you know me at all, you know that is a top three meal for me.

Wicked was incredible. I am still in complete awe of all of the actors. I got goose bumps every two seconds from their voices and talent. And the storyline is so cute. If you haven’t seen the show yet, I’d definitely recommend it.

We ended our evening by heading home and throwing our wedding video in the DVD player, which was a perfect way to end a great day.
